Fridge - Non reliable Drawing
Fridge we had in the building for shopping. This morning it started running hot air in the freezer. We pulled it from use as its not safe for food. This would be a good beverage fridge if someone would like it. No guarantees on how long it will last.
Its the fridge with the freezer on top and fridge on bottom.
Drawing will close Wednesday at 5pm and pickup can be either Thursday (preferred) or Friday. This is a U-Haul situation.

Community Volunteer Opportunities (Alternative hours option)
Volunteer Opportunities: Members can do hours in one of these events that help benefit Linn Benton Food Share and our 68 partner agencies. This can be used as part of the 2 "alternative" hours.
Corvallis Half Marathon – Saturday April 15th-, 8:30- 11:00. Volunteers are needed to help direct runners/ traffic along the race route. Tee Shirts are provided. Linn Benton Food Share is one of the main beneficiaries of this fun event. We are asked to provide 30 volunteers.
KVAL CanDo! Food Drive - May 3, 9:00-6:00 PM at the Corvallis Fred Meyer. Volunteers will accept donations of food and money, table and chairs provided. This is a TV event with live cutins throughout the day. Volunteers can sign up for 2 hours or longer.
Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carriers Food Drive – Saturday May 13th – Volunteers for Corvallis and Albany Post Offices. More information coming!
OSU Credit Union Shred Day event - Benton County Fairgrounds on May 13th-10:00-1:00 PM- Volunteers will accept food donations as people drive through.

Greetings to our gleaner family
We am so happy how we come together in order to get things accomplished. For example, the building of our new tent and doing Target in the rain yesterday, we truly appreciate everyone. We realize that for many members of our family there are struggles to feed our families, which is why gleaners is so important. We do our best to make both distribution days as fair as possible. Each day offers different products from the daily pickups and all Linn-Benton foodshare product is distributed based on the amount of people that shop on each day.
We do our best to supplement everyone's food shopping budget, from the amazing products we receive from Target, to the quantity of frozen food we received last week. I personally ask any member that has an issue with how we distribute product to contact me or any member of the board and discuss the issue and together we can figure out a better way of doing things. We also will be having an advisory board meeting on Tuesday, and if anyone would like to be on the board, please contact me at 541-829-3980.
