Volunteer Opportunities Week 9/7/23 - 9/13/23

Membership household can only sign up for 2 desk volunteer (Check in/out) slots per month.  

As always, if you make any changes after 9pm the prior evening, you MUST text Patty (DO NOT EMAIL WHEN YOU CANCEL as we do not check email as often) (Tues - Sun volunteer shifts) or Alicia (Monday shifts) so we can get the spot filled.

Garden Hours are at the bottom of the page. 

Remember, you can get 3 alternative hours per month (Child care for another gleaner so they can 

volunteer, bring in bottles to return for deposit 1/2 hour for each kitchen size bag, or volunteer in the garden. 

NEW MEMBERS: There is a sign  in and sign out sheet at the desk where we check out. You are responsible for writing down your 

hours on the sheet so that we can enter them in our data system. Please note that we don't keep track and we can't tell you how many

hours you have mid month. The best advice I have it to send yourself a text or email to track your own hours. And, make sure to 

write it down on the volunteer sheet.

Target Drawing :

Please sign up by 2PM on Sept 8.  You MUST plan on shopping either Sept.9th or Sept.11th to pick up items. We will not tell you if you won or not as that is a lot of emails, etc. If you are not in town or do not plan to be shopping, then do NOT sign up. Any items not picked up by Monday shopping will be put back into the drawing for the next drawing. We do not save items unless we forget your items or we miss it on our end.
If you received a letter for missing hours last month - you are NOT eligible for this drawing.

If you sign up and skip shopping or don't let us know, you will not be able to enter into the next drawing.

You can enter for 3 items.  Please tell us your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices.

This will help so if you end up winning for more than one item, we will pick the #1 item and free up the #2 for another member to win.
