If all the slots are full after (and cleanup is full), then you can contact Jennie M for Saturday or Michelle Finley for Monday to get a slot prior to your name slot. Urgent: Seven Shifts Need Covered Tomorrow, Friday

We had an amazing Friday Crew last week and were hoping we can make it happen again this week!

So far, Ali and drivers have signed up to help. We will have our regular drop off from stores and a LBFS warehouse order!

2-3 helpers for warehouse order 1:30-3pm

Cancelled: Bulk Green Bean Distribution

PCS Gleaners, 

Our Bulk Green Bean special distribution on Saturday is cancelled.

Sorry for any and all inconveniences. We found out today that PCS Gleaners are not getting the green beans after all.  Linn-Benton Food Share received the entire donation and will be distributing amongst the Linn-Benton area food banks and gleaning groups.  I’m really sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Text Jen Love today at (971) 241-5252 with how much you want to pick up in pounds. She needs to let the distributor how much we will need as a group.

You'll need to be able to pick them up Saturday anytime during distribution 12-4.

Six Shifts Need Covered Tomorrow, Saturday

Tomorrow there are six openings:

dishwasher, two floaters, a 2-4 check out and a few clean up shifts.

It is crucial that we have reliable and consistent help or we will have no choice but to cut distribution down to one day a week. 

Jules, Linda, and Jennie M are very grateful for the faithful Saturday crew that always shows up, however they still need help.

It is the end of the month so if you need to get hours in now is the time to step up.

Six Shifts Need Covered Tomorrow, Friday

Hi Gleaners!

So far we have No One signed up to help receive and organize food from the trucks tomorrow (Friday) so that folks can shop food Saturday. I need 2-3 people 11am-1pm. As well as a dishwasher please!

Also there is a LBFS Warehouse Donation pickup tomorrow and we need 2 people then to help Jules and Linda lift as they are not able to lift.

Since most people missed the mandatory meeting Thursday evening,  y’all missed that LBFS and PCS are very serious that without the necessary help on Friday and especially Saturday, it is being strongly suggested that we absolutely go down to one shopping distribution day per week…….And we will lose some of our Fresh Alliance pick ups.

Reminder: No Longer Using Civic Champs

 PCS Gleaners, 

To streamline the volunteer hours tracking system, we are going to stop using the current tracking app, Civic Champs, effective July 1st. 

We're going to back to basics here.  We will be using the hand written log on the check-out desk at PCS for tracking all volunteer hours. 

This was discussed at the last members meeting as needing adjustment for the efficiency of those who manage that data.
