FRIENDLY REMINDER: NO FLIP FLOPS allowed during volunteering or any open toed shoes. 

Due to increased membership size: Members need to text or call Patty on Saturdays and Alicia on Mondays 2 hours prior if you need miss a shop time.  If you skip and do not contact us - you MUST sign up for a cleanup shift the following week. If you do not contact Patty on a Saturday and skip shopping without connecting, you may NOT sign up to shop on Monday. 

Everyone of the members making shopping possible is a volunteering taking time from their lives, please be mindful of others time. By skipping your time slot, it makes for a longer time for our volunteers.

Drawing Ends July 8 at 5pm

Note for new members: 

The drawing is items that we have held back from putting out for distribution to give a fair opportunity to all members of the program. You can enter to win these items as long as you plan to shop this coming week. If you do not plan to shop, please refrain from signing up. More directions are listed on the google form below. Make sure you put your full name (we have a few families with the same first names).

Benton County Fair FUNDRAISER - Volunteers needed!

Members! 

We have been given the opportunity to do a fundraiser by sitting and manning the gate at the Benton County Fair! Philomath Gleaners day is August 4th. We have multiple slots open all day long. This is a super easy fundraiser that we are hoping to be successful in and be invited back in 2023! We could use the funds to help support our food needs with our program! 

The first shift is super important. The first trainers will train the next and so on. Training starts at 7:30 at the Orange Gate (West entrance). There will be a 10x10 tent at each gate for volunteers.

Dishwasher help needed Wednesday 9-11am.

 We need a dishwasher to come in on Wednesday 9-11am. This link also has the other opportunities this week.

Volunteer Opportunities 7/2 - 7/10

Trying a new way to put out Volunteer times. I will post on Sundays the opportunities for the week. We do not know if we have the Thursday truck this week. We do plan to do the re-scheduled water special distribution on Wednesday afternoon and that will be a separate sign up.

5.4 Distribution of waste (New Policy) - effective today

 5.4 Distribution of waste 

a. Will be limited to 25# per family per week.  

b. Waste for animals requires an animal waste agreement.  

c. Any person found taking fresh foods for animals will be written up. Only produce deemed waste will be allowed to take for animals. 

d. All surplus waste will be relocated with our long term farm contract (s).
