Shopping sign up for Saturday and Monday 10/30 & 11/1

NOTE: All new members need to have a meeting or phone call with Patty before a family can shop. Before any one brings friends, they need to have a phone orientation at minimum. 

Please note this is the sign up for both Saturday and Monday. 

-- Remember that you need to arrive 10 minutes prior to your sign up time to check in and wash/sanitize

-- Remember that you are not allowed to just show up to shop or volunteer. 

-- If the spots are full, please contact Patty on Saturdays and Alicia on Mondays. (phone numbers are on the blog web version).

We have 3 shifts open to volunteer with 5 spots in each shift.

Pumpkin Glean 10/29

Pumpkin Glean Friday at 1pm. Crop Farm on Electric Ave. Meet across from the Peach Place. Carving pumpkins and eating pumpkins. Children 8 and older are welcome ONLY IF they stay close to their adult. Very muddy and will want to wear boots. 

UPDATE: Any pumpkins you glean will be for your family. This is not a glean to share with the group. It will count as a glean but you can not get hours for picking as you are only picking for your own home. 

This is not a required glean but should be fun.

 Drawing - Must sign up by Noon on Friday. Please read instructions:

Please sign up by NOON on October 29th. You MUST plan on shopping either October 30th or November 1st to pick up items. We will not tell you if you won or not as that is a lot of emails, etc. If you are not in town or do not plan to be shopping, then do NOT sign up. Any items not picked up by Monday shopping will be put back into the drawing for the next drawing. We do not save items unless we forget your items or we miss it on our end. 

If you sign up and skip shopping or don't let us know, you will not be able to enter into the next drawing.

You can enter for 3 items. We will limit winners to 1 item per drawing. Please tell us your 1st, 2nd, & 3rd choices.

Fish Distribution for 10/26

Fish Update: 

We will be receiving between 150-200 fish tomorrow. Distribution will start at 4:30pm. Please remember to stay and help clean up afterwards. If you signed up for Fish, please come down and get your fish tomorrow 10/26 (Tuesday)

Bring your own containers to take your fish home in. 

We will be holding the distribution at 4:30pm at the site. 

Ham / Turkey Sign up

Ham / Turkey Sign up for Thanksgiving

We decided that we would use our grant funds to purchase each family a Ham or Turkey. You MUST sign up in order to get a Ham or Turkey. If you can't figure out the sign up, please call Alicia @ 541.231.7127

Fish - Special Distribution 10/26-Sign up/Cleanup REQUIRED

Fish are coming - we HOPE! We won't know if we are able to get fish or not until the morning of the 26th. We do not have an exact time from of when the fish will arrive in Philomath but likely it will be afternoon on the 26th. 

We will only offer fish on this day for pickup. All fish that will come in, will go out that same afternoon. 

Bring your own containers to haul fish. Suggestions are coolers, buckets, totes. Plastic bags or trash bags often rip right through. Please sign up by 5pm on 10/25. IMPORTANT: Please put in how many fish you would like to get (if we have enough). 

It will be first come first serve, signing up will help us decide how many people want fish (so that everyone can get at least the same amount and more if requested). We will do our best - but sign up is REQUIRED! 

Everyone will need folks to help clean up afterward
