Fish Time for Tomorrow (10/17) Tuesday

 We estimate that the fish will arrive at gleaners at or around 2:00 pm. 

If it is going to be later than the 2:00pm, we will do a message out to everyone. 

We will close the sign up list at 9am tomorrow morning.

This will be a very important meeting as we will decide how to do our voting for new officers at the meeting.

And-There is a lot of good information to be had. Membership volunteer hour applies to the meeting! We would love to have a good turnout. 

 

Fish (Salmon)- Special Distribution 10/17-Sign up/Cleanup REQUIRED

Fish (Salmon and about 18 - 20 POUNDS each fish)- Special Distribution 10/17-Sign up/Cleanup REQUIRED

Fish are coming - For New members, These fish come from a fish hatchery and come as the whole fish. You take it home to 

gut it, clean it, eat it. A crew of volunteers will go to pick up the fish and bring them back to PCS. From there, distribution happens

and everything MUST be cleaned up that day. We do not save fish for anyone. This is non negotiable. 

We DO NOT KNOW and can't tell you when the fish will be here in Philomath. I can tell you that last year it was 4:30. Every 

year it is different. We will have more firm information end of day Monday on what the timeline looks like. 

We will only offer fish on this day for pickup. All fish that will come in, will go out that same afternoon. 

You must bring your own containers to haul fish. Suggestions are coolers, buckets, totes. Plastic bags or trash bags often rip right through. Please sign up by 5pm on 10/16. IMPORTANT: Please put in how many fish you would like to get (if we have enough). 

It will be first come first serve, signing up will help us decide how many people want fish (so that everyone can get at least the same amount and more if requested). We will do our best - but sign up is REQUIRED! 

Everyone will need folks to help clean up afterward

No Gift Cards this year

Heads up for families. 

This year, LBFS is not going to be doing gift cards for thanksgiving like last year. We are not sure if they will be doing the drive by food boxes at this time either. Please plan accordingly for your holiday meal.

Please be mindful that you click the proper day below-I made the title link easier (Click the day of the week to get to the sign up).  Please be mindful of signing up that you will actually shop. If you shop on Saturday and skip, do not call with notice, etc you will not be allowed to shop on Monday. Our membership is FULL and every shopping spot is important.
