We will not tell you if you won or not as that is a lot of emails, etc. If you are not in town or do not plan to be shopping, then do NOT sign up. Any items not picked up by Monday shopping will be put back into the drawing for the next drawing. We do not save items unless we forget your items or we miss it on our end.

Members are only allowed to re-join the program 1 time per calendar year. 

For example, if you leave the program due to not being able to do the hours and decide to stop, then want to come back 2 months later, you will be allowed. But, if you do this again,  you will have to wait until the next year. You can only come back 1 time per calendar year. 

If you opt to leave the program, you can only re-join 1 time per year. 

In April we do our renewals of membership. This does not count towards this, as this is just a continuation of membership. This does not include vacations or planned absences from the program. If you plan to take a month of for life events, that is not "leaving" the program and coming back.

Any member who signs up for a volunteer shift and does not call / show up with at least 4 hours' notice will result in an automatic warning. Please refer to policy 1.5.4 that explains the warning policy and ramifications. 

Any member signs up to shop and does not show up to shop will be required to sign up for a cleanup shift the next time they wish to shop. Failure to show up 3 or more times in a year without notice to the person in charge for the day will result in a warning. Subsequent no shows will be a warning for each offense. Please refer to policy 1.5.4 that explains the warning policy and ramifications. 

This policy is for all volunteers, those who sign up and those who have a weekly commitment.

 Are you handy? Our outside tents could use some serious help. We would love it if someone had the time and strength to come and fix these tents back up. The weather didn't bide well with them.

Notes: 

1. LBFS is closed on Friday so we are doing our warehouse pickup on Wednesday. We need helpers at 4pm. This is a 1 hour commitment. If it only takes a half hour, you will still get a 1 hour volunteer hour.

Wednesday - Store Pickup Helpers needed

We NEED use a team of 2 to pick up 2 stores on Wednesday morning. These are easy stores to pick up from and you can drive the PCS Van from the PCS Site. One person must have a drivers licence, and be able to lift at least 40 pounds. 

This volunteer opportunity is a weekly commitment and is perfect for getting in your hours! 

Please call or text Patty if you can commit to this. Grab a friend and have some fun while getting those hours in! It is a WIN-WIN. 

This will be a few months commitment. Patty has the details.

We have reviewed the volunteer hours and have decided to move the hours to 5 hours for the next 3 months. So, for November, December, and January we will require 5 hours per month. 

We hope that when we need help with Target and other volunteer jobs that we will still have helpers! 

REMINDER: alternate hours (garden, childcare, and cans) can only be a MAX of 2 hours per month. You can do more, but ONLY 2 hours will be recorded and count toward the 5 hours. 

Please continue to track your own hours, make sure to sign in and sign out at the desk (First and Last names). Also, please print CLEARLY so that the volunteer who tracks hours knows who you are.
