Fish (Salmon and about 18 - 20 POUNDS each fish)- Special Distribution 10/15-Sign up/Cleanup REQUIRED
Fish are coming - For New members, These fish come from a fish hatchery and come as the whole fish. You take it home to
gut it, clean it, eat it. A crew of volunteers will go to pick up the fish and bring them back to PCS. From there, distribution happens and everything MUST be cleaned up that day. We do not save fish for anyone. This is non negotiable.
We DO NOT KNOW and can't tell you when the fish will be here in Philomath. Our plan is for the fish to arrive around 11am.
We will only offer fish on this day for pickup. All fish that will come in, will go out that same afternoon.
You must bring your own containers to haul fish. Suggestions are coolers, buckets, totes. Plastic bags or trash bags often rip right through. Please sign up by 5pm on 10/14. IMPORTANT: Please put in how many fish you would like to get (if we have enough).
It will be first come first serve, signing up will help us decide how many people want fish (so that everyone can get at least the same amount and more if requested). We will do our best - but sign up is REQUIRED!
Everyone will need folks to help clean up afterward.
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED ON SITE AT ALL, EVEN IN YOUR VEHICLES AS SALMON ARE POISONOUS TO THEM.
Communications will ONLY be send via WhatsApp on Tuesday (if needed) as the posting people are not available at the drop of a hat, but WhatsApp is available from the phone and can be easily accessed.
