Changes to Shopping has been suggested! We have had to turn down shoppers on Monday due to some families shopping 2 times per week. We have only a certain amount of shopping time available with our volunteers. We need help and do not have additional volunteers to add more time to the shopping time. In the past few weeks we have had to turn multiple people down for shopping in the building as well as people have signed up for a box instead of being able to shop for themselves. We would like to limit shopping to 1 time per week. This will allow for members to shop for themselves with the hope of not having to turn folks away from being able to shop for themselves.
We understand that some families enjoy shopping 2 times per week as we have different foods available on different days. We suggest that possibly you do one week on a Saturday and the next on a Monday. We would like to make this a POLICY during covid but it needs to go to a member vote. Please VOTE by Monday (November 16) at 5pm on this change:

Shopping sign up for MONDAY -
We need help with CLEANUP! It has been suggested that if you are the last group to shop that you would be the cleanup crew. We are going to make this is a suggestion. We have changed the sign up so that we have the last few shoppers as CLEAN UP CREW. Anyone can sign up to stay and cleanup. You sign up as cleanup, you will shop and then stay and help.
ARRIVE 10 minutes EARLY so we can get you checked in. If you are LATE, you will be offered a PREMADE BOX of dry good plus meat and dairy if we have it-this was discussed at the meeting last night (November 12th). You will not be able to shop for yourself in the building if you are late.
YOU MUST SIGN UP BY 9AM. We close the sign up at 9AM
