We have been having some major issues with folks not signing up and randomly showing up to shop and expecting to be squeezed in as well as folks sign up and not show up or contact the coordinator for the day. This causes strain on our system we have worked to put in place to keep things running smoothly during this pandemic and we are working our best to keep our members safe.
Policy: Missing your sign up times:
We would like to propose a policy that if you do not show up to shop in your slot and make zero contact or do not give us at least 2 hours notice to let us know you can not make it (unless an absolute emergency), that the next time you shop, you will need to sign up to do a cleanup. If you are an adoptee, you will be scheduled last on the shopping list for the next time you would like to shop.
Voting for this policy change will end on Friday October 22nd at 5pm. All members (gleaners & adoptees are to vote on this matter).
