Volunteer Opportunities: Members can do hours in one of these events that help benefit Linn Benton Food Share and our 68 partner agencies. This can be used as part of the 2 "alternative" hours.
Corvallis Half Marathon – Saturday April 15th-, 8:30- 11:00. Volunteers are needed to help direct runners/ traffic along the race route. Tee Shirts are provided. Linn Benton Food Share is one of the main beneficiaries of this fun event. We are asked to provide 30 volunteers.
KVAL CanDo! Food Drive - May 3, 9:00-6:00 PM at the Corvallis Fred Meyer. Volunteers will accept donations of food and money, table and chairs provided. This is a TV event with live cutins throughout the day. Volunteers can sign up for 2 hours or longer.
Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carriers Food Drive – Saturday May 13th – Volunteers for Corvallis and Albany Post Offices. More information coming!
OSU Credit Union Shred Day event - Benton County Fairgrounds on May 13th-10:00-1:00 PM- Volunteers will accept food donations as people drive through.
