Our advisory board met on Tuesday, and we discussed the issue of some members taking upwards of 45 minutes to shop. This is not acceptable as we are often serving 60-70 households on each distribution day.
5.5 Shoppers are allotted 8 minutes to shop on distribution day. If a member takes more than 20 minutes, they will be given a warning. If a member takes more than 20 minutes a second time they will be notified of the violation and will receive a prepared box for the next month.
Please remember that shopping is a one way trip and backtracking will not be tolerated as it also slows down the shopping process. We are trying to serve all of our members in a timely manner.
